Tattoo Removal uses a Q-switch laser. This highly-concentrated light energy is selectively absorbed by the ink, causing the pigment to break into smaller fragments. These fragments are naturally cleared away by the body's lymphatic system. There is minimal damage to surrounding skin, leading to fewer side effects and increased results.
This treatment feels like a rubber band being snapped on your skin. After treatment, you may experience redness, swelling, slight blistering, itching, and raised areas. Your skin may feel like it has a sunburn. You may take Tylenol, use a cold compress, and/or an ointment to help alleviate these symptoms. You will start feeling better in a few days.
Most people require between 6-12 treatments that are done 6-8 weeks apart to remove a tattoo. The number of sessions varies greatly. This depends on many factors including the tattoo's size, age, color, and depth. It also depends on the person's skin type and immune response. We offer treatment packages at a discounted rate.
